Welcome to the homepage of the Korean Education
Center in Los Angeles (KECLA). The KECLA is a non-profit educational
organization dedicated to educating Korean Americans and helping to establish
their pride and identity as Koreans through a variety of programs on Korean
language, culture and history.
The Korean American Education Foundation was founded in 1996 with donations
from Korean Americans living in Southern California and support from the Korean
government (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology), and obtained its
own educational facility building in 2002. With this prominent educational
facility, we have been providing opportunities for Korean Americans to learn
Korean heritage through educational programs for adults and youth. We encourage
everyone to participate in our programs and learn something about the rich
heritage of Korea.
This website is for everyone: students, parents, teachers of Korean school and
American educators. We welcome your comments or suggestions for making this
website more efficient for its users.
KECLA will continue to provide you with the opportunity to experience Korean
heritage and establish your pride and identity as a Korean. Of course, we also
hope for active participation and support from you.

Thank you very much.
