The Korean Education Center in Los Angeles was founded on
April 11, 1980 by the Ministry of Education (now Ministry of Education, Science
and Technology) in Korea. For more than two decades the Center has fulfilled
its mission to provide Korean Americans with various educational programs to
help them establish their Korean identity in the United States. The Center will
continue its mission to reach out to Korean American communities to enhance
their understanding and appreciation on Korean heritage.
