Dedicated to Educating Korean Americans on Korean Heritage
Located at 680 Wilshire Place in
the heart of Korean Town, the Korean Education Center in Los Angeles (KECLA) is
the axis of Korean heritage education in Southern California. The Korean
Education Center welcomes all generations of Korean Americans to learn the
Korean language, culture and history through its various learning programs and
specialized training opportunities.
Operated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources of Korea, KECLA is
dedicated to providing Korean Americans with several learning opportunities to
help them establish their Korean identity in the United States. We particularly
focus on educating the young generation of Korean Americans to help them
understand their Korean heritage by learning the Korean language and culture so
they can become great leaders with perspectives on diversity and understanding
on the nature of this multicultural American society.
